    8 Best Vegan Snacks

If you know me at all you know that I’m obsessed with snacks. Seriously. I always have at least one snack on me at all times. And even though I’m only vegetarian, I’m also lactose intolerant, so I like to have a lot of vegan options around. It’s also handy if your friends are vegan, which a lot of mine are. That way no ones left out!

So what do I pretty much always have on hand you ask? Well, let me tell you… and buckle up cause these snacks are tasty! I can pretty much guarantee you that you’re gonna be obsessed with these in no time. Love at first bite? Yep. You’re welcome.

    Hippeas in Vegan White Cheddar

Oh. My. God. These are SO GOOD. Seriously. I have to stop myself from eating them all at once because they’re THAT good. I could eat the entire bag easily, and I’m not just talking the regular size bag. I’m talking the ginormous bag that’s the size of my entire torso from Costco. Basically if you like cheezies and/or smartfood you’re going to LOVE these. I promise you. You gotta get some.

    Hippeas in Vegan White Cheddar, $19.93 / 4oz x 6

    So Delicious Blueberry Yogurt

I used to eat yogurt all the time. There was actually a regular yogurt I used to eat religiously over ten years ago that tasted exactly like Lemon Meringue Pie. EXACTLY. It was AMAZING. So of course, they discontinued it. Then I stopped eating yogurt. But then I discovered this yogurt, and holy smokes. IT’S SO GOOD. I haven’t had real yogurt in SO long, but this stuff tastes exactly like I remember it! It has the proper texture, and doesn’t taste like coconut milk at all. I just love it. There’s a few other kinds of So Delicious yogurts that I’ve tried, and I’ve liked them all, but this one is definitely my favorite. If they come out with a Lemon Meringue one, laaawd help me. My dreams would be coming true! I’ll need it in bulk, please.

    So Delicious Blueberry Yogurt,$1.25

Go Max Go Mahalo Candy Bar

Alright, I don’t know what happened. I never used to like coconut things, but now as I’ve gotten older, I love them? What happened!? Anyway, this candy bar is AMAZING. If you like coconuts and you like chocolate you’re gonna love this. I guess it’s basically an Almond Joy, but vegan. ‘Nuff said.

Go Max Go Mahalo Bar, $2.49

Halo Top Dairy Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream

I LOVE Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream. LOVE IT. But it also tends to give me a pretty bad bellyache, which is a huge bummer. This stuff doesn’t! And it’s surprisingly good for a low calorie ice cream. I first tried it at the new Halo Top Gazebo Ice Cream thing at The Grove and was pleasantly surprised! Also, since it’s so low calorie you can eat even more than normal and not totally overdo it in the calorie department. Like for example, you could eat the entire pint if you really wanted to and only rack up 360 calories for the entire thing. SCORE! More for less. That’s what’s up.

Halo Top Dairy Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream, $3.99

    Louisville Maple Bacon Vegan Jerky

Alright, so… I used to LOVE jerky. And Hot Rods. Any kind of pepperoni stick, really. But I haven’t had anything even remotely close to one since going vegetarian over 10 years ago. That is… until now. I kept seeing vegan jerky brands popping up all around but I was always like ehhh… how good can it be, really? I tried a few seitan ones awhile ago and was sufficiently grossed out. So I gave up, but then I came across this. I read a few reviews and decided to try it. Holy. SMOKES. YOU GUYS. This is AMAZING. The texture is spot on. It has that chewy jerky texture I miss and the perfect smokiness. Maybe its the Canadian in me, but the Maple Bacon Flavor is BEYOND AMAZING. If you miss jerky or just wanna have something savory, try it!

Louisville Maple Bacon Vegan Jerky, $34.99 / 5 count

    Golden Oreo Thins

Alright, we all know Oreos are accidentally vegan, which is THE BEST THING EVER. I go between the regular Oreo thins or the Golden ones but I’ve been more partial to the Golden ones lately. They’re just so freakin’ GOOD. Also, I just love thin options for snacks. These are so great.

    Golden Oreo Thins, $2.99

    Earth Balance Cheddar Squares

Cheez-Its aren’t vegan unfortunately, so I went and had to find a vegan version, but I ain’t even mad tho cause these are SO good and way less salty and more cheesy than Cheez-Its so I think I actually like them more. I mean, I keep getting these and not Cheez-Its so I guess I must. LOL. I literally always have these around. Like, if one box is getting low I already have one or two on the ready as a backup. I’m not even almost kidding. I love these!

    Earth Balance Cheddar Squares, $6.03 / 60z x 2

    Cocomels Sea Salt Caramels

Last, but certainly not least, the Cocomel Sea Salt Caramels. So, I LOVE caramels. I remember as a kid my Dad would take us to the corner store just to get some candy and we’d always loaded up on those little square individual wrapped caramels. ALWAYS. Well, dare I say, these are even better. YEAH. Also, they’re only 20 calories each! I literally eat a handful of them every single day. So if you’re hankering for something sweet these are the best thing to have on hand.

Cocomels Sea Salt Caramels, $14.99 / 3 pack

So there you have it! 8 of the best vegan snacks around! I will definitely be making more of these snack lists because I always have a ton of snacks around, and I keep discovering more! ‘MERICA. There’s just so many amazing options everywhere. I love it.
